Changes to RSP

Hello, Parents, Students, and King Academy Community:

This week, the 7th grade RSP students will see Mr. Tran during their Curriculum Support period on Tuesdays and Fridays. The reason for this is that I am now responsible for focusing on English Language Arts, and Mr. Tran is responsible for math instruction. The syllabus will change as a result with new grading criteria. This quarter is still under the old syllabus, but it will change after this quarter is finished in early October.

Also, I have extended the deadline for the high-frequency index cards project, which is worth the most points of all the assignments thus far, 45 points. The new deadline is Friday, Sep 22. Students should work on these during class. It is good for you to reinforce the words at home. Many students need help using these words properly and with fluency. If you need me to email you a copy of the 220 high frequency words, please contact me.

Respectfully,

Verna Do, MA
